How can you tell its almost the end of the term?
Check out the library!
The two weekends before the term ends, the library is fuller than usual. The second to last weekend is full of students doing work on projects: doing some last minute research, analyzing results, and writing their reports. The last weekend everyone has one task: prepare for finals.
This weekend the part about project work is especially true.
Many seniors are working to finish up their major projects. Since most students choose to spread their project work out over three consecutive terms, C-term (aka right now) is the final term that most of them will be working on their major projects. They are working numerous hours in order to complete their project work as best they can.
D-term (aka next term) is also one of the most popular terms to go abroad. Throughout D-term, and all of the year, WPI sends many students across the world to work on their interactive projects. In D-term alone, students go to London, Australia, Puerto Rico, and Namibia. Because of this, there are many juniors working on project proposals and project plans for their travels abroad.
Basically tonight the library is the place to be - glad I can be part of the cool crowd :-)
