Let it snow!

Today was the first snow in Worcester!

Personally, I love the snow. As a kid I loved sledding, skating, snow ball fights, attempting to build an igloo, hot cocoa, skiing, and of course SNOW DAYS. As a WPI student, I love sledding with DAKA trays, the foot prints on the quad (which always form a much larger than necessary loop around the seal), the students who build snowmen and/or forts around campus, hot cocoa from Dunkins, the WPI ski team, and the hard to come by snow day.

See, WPI doesn't really do snow days. In my 3+ years here so far, I have been on campus for one snow day and one early release day. Certain professors will cancel class if they have a long commute, but more often than not, we have class. The good news is, this means classes aren't being rushed to make up material, and professors aren't assigning extra work out of class on your so called day off. It just means your calendar hasn't been cleared by the snow. Plus, it makes those few days snowed in even more special!
